Getting to Emu Park

Emu Park is on Queensland’s Capricorn Coast 44km (27m) east of Rockhampton and is 19km (12m) south of Yeppoon. Emu Park is right on the coast and overlooks many islands of Keppel Bay including the world famous Great Keppel Island (packages including Great Keppel Island).
Bus
Whether you are travelling from the North or South, Greyhound, Greyhound Australia) as well as Premier bus companies stop off at Rockhampton. Emus Beach Resort offers pickups from the Rockhampton bus arrivals but booking this with us is essential.
Car
If you are coming to us by car then please use Google Maps to get step by step directions.
Alternatively, if you are coming from:
The North: Take the Yeppoon Exit off the Bruce Highway, just before Rockhampton. Drive for approx. 20 minutes and when you get to the roundabout, turn right. Drive for approx. 12 minutes and when you go from an 80 zone to a 60km zone, Emus Beach Resort is 1km further on the right.
The South: Take the Emu Park exit at McDonalds in Rockhampton and follow the signs over the bridge and then right again at the lights. Drive for approx. 30 minutes until you come into Emu Park. Turn left at the roundabout and Emus Beach Resort is 1km on the left.
Train
Travelling from the North or South Rockhampton offers the closest train station to Emu Park. Emus Beach Resort offers pickups from the Rockhampton train station but booking this with us is essential.
